Is the Klaviyo connector live in Muse right now?
As of October 25, 2026, Klaviyo is a live connector in Muse. It arrived on September 29, 2026 as one of 15 new business connectors in the Muse for Small Business launch, it was still listed in the October 15 in app check that counted 54 connectors in the web app, and it was named again on October 7, 2026 in the iPad app launch and expanded connector list. Connect it and Muse can work with your email and SMS marketing: who your subscribers are, what your campaigns did, which flows are earning, and what to send next.
Here is the honest version. Klaviyo already holds your audience and the messages you send them. Muse adds the thinking across both. It reads the campaign results, spots the flow that quietly stopped earning, and turns a marketing platform full of numbers into a plan for this week: which segment to write to, which email to fix, and what to say next. The value is not a prettier dashboard. The value is a marketing tool that answers back when you ask what worked, what flopped, and what you should send first. The rest of this guide covers how to connect it, the setup that keeps it safe, and the uses that are actually worth your time.

What do you need before you connect Klaviyo?
- Muse access. You need an account with access first, in the United States, Canada, or Japan, where Muse has launched.
- A Klaviyo account. With the lists, segments, campaigns, and flows you actually run. If your email lives somewhere else, connect that tool instead of forcing Klaviyo to fit.
- Your Klaviyo sign in. You connect with your Klaviyo account, the same way you sign in to Klaviyo itself.
- Approvals set to ask me. Before you connect anything, set approvals so nothing is sent to a subscriber or changed in your account without your tap. This is the single most important step on this page.
- Shopify, optional but recommended. Store plus email is the pairing that makes Klaviyo powerful, because the purchase data tells Muse which emails actually earned money. Our Shopify store guide covers that half.
How do you connect Klaviyo to Muse?
The connection itself takes a few minutes. The setup around it matters more, so run the steps in order and do not skip the approvals step at the end.
- Open Muse and go to Settings. The connectors list lives there. What is printed there is what your account has, because rollout is staged and two accounts can see different lists on the same day.
- Find Klaviyo in the connectors list and open it. If Klaviyo is not listed, your account has not received it yet. There is nothing to install and nothing you broke. Check again in a few days.
- Sign in with Klaviyo. Use the account where your real lists and campaigns live. If you run more than one brand, pick the one you want Muse to plan around first.
- Grant the access Muse asks for. Muse needs permission to read your lists, segments, campaigns, and flows, and possibly to draft or send on your behalf. Read the permission screen before you accept it. If a scope surprises you, stop and check what it covers before continuing.
- Set approvals to ask me. In Muse settings, set approvals so that sending an email or SMS and any change to a campaign or flow always waits for you. This is what stops Muse from ever emailing your list or editing a flow you have not approved.
- Test with a read only request. Ask Muse how many subscribers you have, which campaign performed best last month, and which flow earned the most. Read the answer against your Klaviyo dashboard. If it matches, the connection is good. Do not ask it to send anything on the first day.
- Use it read only for a week. Summaries, campaign checks, and drafts only. Once you trust what it reads and how it reasons about your audience, start approving drafts one at a time.

You are my email marketing assistant. Use my Klaviyo connector only. Rules: you never send an email or SMS, publish a campaign, or change a flow without my explicit approval. You read, analyze, and draft. I approve everything. My business: [what I sell, who buys from me, what my list cares about] My brand voice: [describe how I sound in a few words, e.g. warm, playful, premium, blunt] Every Monday, do this in order. 1. Summarize last week: which campaigns went out, how they performed, and what they earned. 2. Tell me which flow earned the most and which flow has gone quiet. 3. Flag any segment that is growing fast or shrinking, and tell me why it matters. 4. Draft this week in my brand voice: 2 emails built on what actually worked. Show me the drafts. Do not send anything. 5. End with the 3 moves that would matter most this week, in order of impact.
What can Muse actually do with Klaviyo?
One honest note before the list. Meta has not published a detailed list of exactly which actions Muse can take inside Klaviyo as of October 25, 2026, so the uses below describe the realistic shape of the connector based on what Klaviyo does, not a verified list of every action. The permission screen you see when you connect is the true list for your account, so read it and test with read only requests first. What follows is what the connector is for, and where it earns its place.
The weekly campaign read
Ask Muse what your campaigns did last week: which ones went out, how they performed, and what they earned. This is the single highest value use, and it is the one to build a habit around. A good campaign read tells you what to send more of and what to stop sending, and it takes three minutes to read. The trick is to ask for revenue, not just opens, because an email with great opens and zero sales is an email that entertained people and sold nothing. Ask for the read every Monday, and let it decide what this week emails should be about. Our Shopify store guide shows how the campaign read fits into a full week of running a store with Muse.
Flows that earn while you sleep
Ask Muse which flow earned the most last month and which flow has gone quiet. Welcome flows, abandoned cart flows, and post purchase flows earn money every day without anyone touching them, which is exactly why nobody checks them. A flow that quietly broke, or that still sends an old offer, can bleed money for months before anyone notices. Ask Muse to check each flow once a month: what it sends, how often, and what it earned. The flow that earns the most deserves your best copy. The flow that earns nothing deserves a fix or a funeral.
Segments worth writing to
Ask Muse which segments are growing fast, which are shrinking, and which ones have never received an email written just for them. This beats browsing your list yourself, because Muse reads the segment and the purchase history together and tells you who these people actually are: repeat buyers, one time buyers, browsers who never bought, and subscribers who opened everything for a month and then went silent. Each group needs a different email, and writing one email for all of them is how a list goes stale. Ask for the segment read once a month, and write to the segment that is growing before you write to the list as a whole.
Drafts in your voice
Ask Muse to draft this week emails in your voice, built on what actually worked last week: the subject line style that got opened, the offer that got clicked, and the product that got bought. The drafts arrive for your approval, and the approval step is the whole point: you read, you edit, you send. The drafts get better over a few weeks because Muse learns from the edits you make and the emails people actually open and buy from. The failure mode to avoid is approving a draft you did not read. A draft you did not read is an email you did not write, and it goes out to thousands of people with your name on it.
Abandoned carts, recovered properly
Ask Muse which carts were abandoned this week, what was in them, and whether your recovery flow actually brought anyone back. This beats guessing yourself, because Muse reads the cart and the flow together and tells you where the recovery breaks: the first email that never gets opened, the second email that gets opened and never clicked, or the offer that gets clicked and never used. Fix the step that breaks, not the whole flow. A cart flow that recovers even a few more buyers a week pays for the habit many times over, because those buyers already wanted the product and only needed a nudge.
The SMS question
Ask Muse whether your SMS list is earning its keep: how many subscribers you have, how often you message them, and what those messages earned compared with email. SMS is the channel people answer fastest and forgive slowest, so the question is not whether to send more texts, it is whether each text earns its interruption. If a text earns less than the email on the same offer, send the email. If a text earns far more, send the text and save the email for the people who never gave you their number. Ask Muse for the comparison once a month, and let the numbers decide the mix instead of your gut.
What can the Klaviyo connector not do?
The limits are honest and worth knowing before you lean on the connector.
- It cannot see lists in an account you never connected. If a brand lives in a second Klaviyo account, or your email lives in a different tool entirely, Muse cannot see it. It reasons from what you connected, nothing more.
- It cannot guarantee it read the numbers right. A campaign read can miss a send, and a revenue figure can be misattributed. Check anything that touches money, a launch, or a big send against Klaviyo itself before you act on it.
- It cannot send an email or SMS without your approval when approvals are set right. That is a feature, not a bug. If you turn approvals off, you lose the safety net, so keep them on for anything that reaches a subscriber.
- It cannot fix a stale list. If your list is full of people who never open anything, Muse will write to the pile. The campaign read gets dramatically better once you clean the list: suppress the people who never engage and write to the people who actually read.
- It cannot write your brand voice for you. Muse can imitate the voice you describe and learn from the edits you make, but it cannot know what your brand sounds like until you tell it in plain words. Write the voice down once, and repeat it when it changes.
- It cannot make a bad offer good. A great email about an offer nobody wants is still an email about an offer nobody wants. If the numbers say an offer is dead, fix the offer before you rewrite the email.
What should you watch out for?
As of October 25, 2026, Klaviyo is a settled connector in the sense that it has been live since September 29, was named again on October 7 in the iPad app launch and expanded connector list, and no October announcement has described a change to how it works. That is based on the September launch record, the October 7 mention, and the October 15 in app check, since no October announcement has described a change to it. There is no October update to learn, so the habits around it still matter. Check the campaign read against your Klaviyo dashboard for the first week, especially any revenue figure or open rate it quotes. A wrong number acted on fast is worse than a slow read you verified.
Be careful with SMS. A text is the most interruptive message you can send, and subscribers forgive a bad email far faster than a bad text. Set a rule for yourself: Muse drafts, you read, you send, and you send fewer texts than you think you should. One good text a month beats four forgettable ones, and the unsubscribe from a bad text is permanent in a way an ignored email never is.
Check your data controls. In Muse settings, open Data controls and look at the switch for helping improve the models. If you do not want your chats used for training, turn it off before you start asking Muse to read your marketing. That switch controls whether Meta may use your chats to train future models.
Finally, remember the list habit decides the value. A connector that reads a clean, engaged list can tell you the truth about your marketing. A connector that reads a stale list can only tell you that you have a stale list. Spend time each month on the people who actually read, and the campaign read will start feeling like it was written by someone who knows your audience. See the full list of what Muse connects to on our Muse connectors list, and pair Klaviyo with the Shopify store guide if you want store plus email in one view, or the Instagram marketing guide if your audience finds you on social first and buys by email second.

- Is the Klaviyo connector live in Muse?
- Yes, as of October 25, 2026. Klaviyo arrived on September 29, 2026 as one of 15 new business connectors, it was still listed in the October 15 in app check, and it was named again on October 7 in the iPad app launch and expanded connector list.
- What can Muse do with my Klaviyo account?
- Muse can read your lists, segments, campaigns, and flows, tell you what worked and what earned, and draft emails in your voice. Exact actions depend on the permissions you grant when you connect, so read the permission screen first.
- Can Muse send email or SMS to my list without asking me?
- Not when your approvals are set to ask me. Every send waits for your tap. Keep approvals on for anything that reaches a subscriber, and read every draft before you send it.
- Does Klaviyo work with Shopify in Muse?
- Yes, as a pairing. Connect both and Muse can read the store and the email together, so it can tell you which emails actually earned money. Our Shopify store guide covers the store half.
- Can Muse fix my abandoned cart flow?
- It can read the flow, tell you where buyers drop off, and draft a better version for your approval. It cannot change the flow by itself when approvals are set right, so you stay in control of what goes live.
- Can I use the Klaviyo connector outside the United States, Canada, and Japan?
- Not yet. Muse itself has launched in the United States, Canada, and Japan only. Join the waitlist and we will send you a fresh code on launch day in your country.
- What happens if I disconnect Klaviyo?
- Muse loses access to your lists, campaigns, and flows. Your data stays in Klaviyo, and nothing Muse drafted is sent after you disconnect. You can reconnect the same account later.
- Is my subscriber data used to train Muse?
- There is a Data controls switch in Muse settings for helping improve the models. If you do not want your chats used for training, turn it off before you start asking Muse to read your marketing.
