Say this to Muse
I want you to run a social circulation desk for my publication. Set it up once, then run it on an hourly schedule during my active hours.

INPUTS: my article catalog or RSS feed [INPUT]; my channels and their posting tools or APIs [INPUT]; my shared media folder [INPUT]; my active hours and timezone [INPUT].

SETUP
1. Ingest the catalog: every published article with its URL, title, topic, and publish date. Keep a posting ledger (channel, article, media used, date, slot) that persists between runs. The ledger is the memory; never rely on the conversation.
2. Give each channel four named slots a day (early, morning, afternoon, evening) with a minimum spacing of about 3.5 hours between posts on the same channel and a daily cap of 4 posts per channel on weekdays, 2 on weekends.

EACH RUN
3. Score every article: freshness plus reader impact, minus strikes for each time it has already been posted, minus fatigue for recently used media, plus a recovery bonus for stories rested a long time. St

Copy it into Muse and run it.

The result

I run a one-person local news site. Every hour, Muse scores my whole article catalog and ships the single best story to each of my social channels with native video or a graphic card and a channel-native caption. It never repeats a story until the catalog cycles, it flags slow days honestly instead of going silent, and it reports every post back to me.

Mine runs a local news site, The Palm Bayer, and posts to LinkedIn, TikTok, and X on weekdays, with Reddit, Substack, and Threads joining on launch days for new stories. A typical day is 9 to 12 posts, all scored. On quiet days the winning score drops and the desk says so instead of padding: a slow-day winner scored 45 this morning. Every post comes back to me as a short telemetry report, and the ledger lets a strong story encore once the next day in a premium slot, then rest.

What didn't work: the first version double-posted stories when two runs overlapped, fixed by making the ledger claim (channel, article, slot, date) atomic before
