The problem
You are selling your car on Marketplace. Buyers lowball. Muse negotiates every inquiry toward your target price without you touching your phone.
Before you start
- Read your Marketplace messages
- Send messages on your behalf
Steps
- Give Muse the listing: car details, asking price and your walk-away floor.
- As buyer messages arrive, Muse drafts a reply to each: countering lowballs with comparable listings in your area, answering spec questions, proposing viewing times.
- Every outbound message waits for your one-tap approval. You see the buyer, the offer and the proposed counter before anything sends.
- When a buyer reaches your target, Muse flags it and asks whether to accept and schedule the handoff.
Say this to Muse
I'm selling my 2019 Civic for $16,500. Handle buyer messages. Never accept below $14,500, counter lowballs with local comps, and get my approval on every reply.
The result
This was Meta's own launch demo, and in hands-on testing each Marketplace message still needed human review, which testers called friction. It is slower than a bot farm on purpose: no message goes out that you did not see. Approval gates: Every single outbound message.
