1. The short answer
As of October 25, 2026, Klook is a live connector in Muse. It launched with Muse's debut in Japan on October 23, 2026, when Klook announced its partnership with Meta. Klook's inventory is 426,000 bookable experiences across 4,600 destinations, and Muse can search it, compare options, check cancellation and rescheduling terms, and place an order with your approval. You then pay on Klook's own payment page, Muse confirms the booking in the chat, and the details stay there for reference. Our Muse connectors list keeps the dated count of every connector, including the Japan wave.
Here is what that means in practice. You tell Muse where you are going, when, and what you like, and it comes back with things to do that fit, instead of a search page you have to filter yourself. Pick one, approve the order, pay on Klook's page, and the booking is confirmed in the same conversation. Muse asks before every sensitive action, so nothing is ordered or paid without your say.
The September background is short. Muse launched September 8, 2026 in the United States and Canada, with flight booking through Duffel from day one. Japan followed on October 23, 2026, as the first market outside North America, and Klook launched with it. Meta also said its integrations with global services including Stripe, Shopify, Trip.com, and Agoda are available in Japan as well. So Klook is the activities half of the Japan travel set, Trip.com covers flights and hotels, and Agoda covers hotels.

2. What you need
- Muse access. You need an account with access first, in the United States, Canada, or Japan, where Muse has launched. Klook launched with the Japan debut, so check your own Connectors screen to confirm it is live in your account.
- A Klook account. You connect with your Klook account, the same way you sign in to Klook itself. Bookings and payment run through that account.
- Your trip details. Destination, dates, who is going, and what you like. The more specific you are, the better the recommendations. A city and a date beats a vague idea every time.
- A payment method on Klook. Payment happens on Klook's own payment page, not inside the Muse chat. Have your card ready there. Muse cannot see your payment details.
- Approvals set to ask me. Before you connect anything that can place an order, set approvals so nothing is booked without your tap. This is the single most important step on this page.
- Trip.com or Agoda, optional but useful. Klook covers activities, not flights or hotels. Pair it with Trip.com for flights and hotels, or Agoda for hotels, and the whole trip lives in one conversation. Our Trip.com connector guide and our Agoda connector guide cover those halves.
3. How to connect it, step by step
The connection itself takes a few minutes. The booking habit around it matters more, so run the steps in order and do not skip the approvals step at the end.
- Open Muse and go to Settings, then Connectors. Find Klook in the list. If you do not see it, check that your Muse app is current, then check again. The connector launched October 23, 2026, so an up to date app should show it in Japan, and check your own screen elsewhere.
- Connect your Klook account. Sign in with your Klook account when prompted. This is the account your bookings and payment will run through, so use the one with your travel history, not a spare.
- Set approvals to ask me. Do this before your first booking question. Ordering an activity is a purchase, and a purchase should never happen without your tap. Keep this setting on while you learn what the connector does, and keep it on after.
- Describe the trip, not just the activity. Tell Muse where you are going, when, who is going, and what you like. A goal lets Muse connect dots: it can suggest a food tour on your free afternoon instead of a ticket for a morning you already filled.
- Compare before you approve. Ask about the options side by side: price, what is included, and the cancellation and rescheduling terms. The cheapest ticket with no cancellation is not always the best ticket. Read the terms Muse shows you, and ask it to check anything unclear before you approve.
- Approve the order, then pay on Klook's page. Muse places the order with your approval, then directs you to Klook's secure payment page to complete the purchase. Pay there. Once payment is processed, Muse confirms the booking in the chat, and the details stay there for reference.
4. What it actually does
The value of this connector is not that Muse can list activities. Klook already does that. The value is that Muse can plan the fun part of a trip the way a good travel agent would: from your dates, your interests, and your free time, not from a search box.
Discovery is the use most people will actually keep. Tell Muse where you are going and what you like, and it draws from 426,000 bookable offerings across more than 4,600 destinations to recommend options that fit. That scale is the point: you do not have to know what exists before you search for it. Muse surfaces things you would not have thought to look for, including options beyond the big tourist attractions, which is where Klook says smaller and independent merchants gain visibility.
Comparison is the second solid use. Ask follow up questions, compare different experiences, and check booking conditions, including cancellation and rescheduling policies. Two tours can look identical until you see that one allows free cancellation and the other does not. That difference is worth more than a small price gap, and it is the kind of detail a plain listing hides.
Booking is the third use, and the one with the clearest flow. Once you decide, tell Muse to proceed. With your approval, the agent places the order, directs you to Klook's payment page, and confirms the booking in the chat once payment is processed. The details stay in the conversation, so you are not hunting through email for a confirmation the morning of the activity.
It also pairs well with the rest of the trip. Klook is activities, Trip.com is flights and hotels, Agoda is hotels, and Google Calendar is the schedule underneath them all. Tell Muse the whole trip once, and it can fit an activity into a free afternoon instead of clashing with a flight. That is the difference between four separate bookings and one planned trip.
5. What it cannot do
It cannot book flights or hotels. Klook is activities, tickets, tours, and experiences. If you need a flight, that is Trip.com or Duffel. If you need a hotel, that is Trip.com or Agoda. Asking Klook for a flight is asking the wrong connector, and Muse should tell you so rather than forcing an answer.
It cannot take your payment inside the chat. Payment happens on Klook's secure payment page, and that is a feature, not a flaw. Muse cannot see your payment details, and the payment stays with Klook, where your card and your buyer protections already live. If Muse ever asks for card details in the chat, stop: that is not how this connector works.
It cannot change Klook's cancellation policy. It can read the terms and show them to you, and it can check whether an experience allows rescheduling, but the terms are Klook's and the operator's. A non refundable ticket stays non refundable no matter how nicely you ask. Check the terms before you approve, not after.
It cannot guarantee availability in every destination. The inventory is 426,000 offerings across 4,600 destinations, which is large, but it is Asia heavy, and coverage outside Asia is thinner. If Muse finds little in a small town, that is a coverage gap, not a failure. Check Klook itself before you assume nothing exists.
It cannot handle visas, entry rules, or travel documents for you. It can look things up, but entry requirements change, and a wrong answer here costs a trip. Verify visas and entry rules against an official source before you travel, and treat anything Muse says on the subject as a starting point, not a verdict.
6. What to watch for
Verify the price and the terms on Klook's page before you pay. Muse shows you what it found, but the payment page is the source of truth. Check the final price, what is included, and the cancellation window, and only then complete the purchase. A booking confirmed in a hurry is the one you regret.
Check the start time against your time zone. Activities run on local time, and a tour that starts at 9 in the morning in Tokyo is not 9 in the morning where you are. Confirm the local start time in the booking details Muse saves in the chat, and put it on your calendar with the right zone attached.
Keep approvals on for every order. The temptation, once the connector works well, is to let Muse book freely. Do not. Every order is a purchase, and every purchase deserves your tap. The failure mode you want is an order waiting for approval, not a booking you did not ask for.
Check that Klook is live in your account. It launched with Muse's Japan debut on October 23, 2026, and Meta has said its global travel integrations are available in Japan as well. If you are in the United States or Canada, open your Connectors screen and confirm Klook is there before you plan around it. Do not assume a Japan launch means a launch everywhere.
Finally, save the booking details where you can find them. Muse keeps the confirmation in the chat, which is convenient, but a trip has many moving parts. Copy the confirmation number and the meeting point into your calendar event for the activity, so the details are where you will actually look on the day.
