How to Use Muse If It Is Not Available in Your Country

Muse is not available in your country yet? This 2026 guide gives you the exact laptop setup that works, plus fixes for the two errors almost everyone hits: the region block and the age verification screen.

Muse has not launched everywhere yet, and the number one question we get is simple: it is not available in my country, what do I do now?

This guide gives you the setup that works, step by step. Then it covers the two errors almost everyone runs into, the region block and the age verification screen, and exactly what to do when they appear.

1. The setup that works

Do this on a laptop or desktop, Mac or Windows. Not on your phone. On a phone the chance of getting flagged or blocked is much higher, so a computer is the safer choice.

  1. Open Chrome or Brave on your computer. Any browser that lets you install extensions works. The creator behind this method suggests skipping Edge.
  2. Install any VPN. A free one is fine. It does not matter which VPN you pick.
  3. Connect the VPN to the United States and make sure it stays connected.
  4. Go to muse.ai and sign up or sign in.
  5. If the age verification screen appears, leave it and continue. It will not block your account.
  6. Redeem your invite code in Settings.

That is the whole method. Everything below is for the cases where it does not work on the first try, so keep scrolling.

2. If you see "not available in your region"

This is the most common error. It means the site still sees a location where Muse has not launched. Work through these fixes in order.

  • Make sure the VPN is really on the US. Check that it is connected before you open the site. If the error stays, switch to a different US server. Free VPN servers get flagged often, so a new server is the fastest fix.
  • Get a fresh IP address. Note that the IP address shown in your wifi settings is only for your home network, and changing it does nothing. What matters is your public IP address, which is what the site sees. Switching VPN servers or reconnecting your network gives you a new one.
  • Use a fresh browser profile, or clear your cookies and history. This stops the site from linking you to the earlier blocked visit.
  • Do not share your phone VPN through a hotspot. The VPN usually does not carry over to hotspot connections, so your laptop would still show your real location. Install the VPN directly on your laptop instead.

3. If you see the age verification screen

Leave it and continue.

Trying to verify through Instagram or any other method will not work either. Meta asks for an ID or a card, and most readers outside the US cannot complete that step. The good news is that skipping it does not block your account, so just move on.

4. The fresh start rule

If the errors keep coming back, reset everything at once: a new account, a new browser or a fresh browser profile, and a new IP address. If even one piece is left over from the flagged attempt, it can trigger the block again.

5. Last resort: switch devices

If nothing above works, borrow a different laptop and run the whole setup there from the beginning. A different device means clean cookies and a fresh browser fingerprint, and that is what actually matters here.

The short version Laptop, not phone. Chrome or Brave with any VPN connected to the US. Skip the age check. If blocked, get a fresh IP, a fresh browser profile, and a new account. Still stuck, switch devices and start over.

6. What you get once inside

Yes. Connect any VPN to the United States and open muse.ai in your browser. That is the core of the whole method.
Which VPN should I use for Muse?
Any VPN works, free is fine, as long as the server is in the US. If one server is blocked, switch to another US server.
Can I do this on my phone?
